A simple chart or graph is another way to comprehensively
illustrate multiple points. Charts can be provided in
still image prints, including magnetic boards, and can
also be animated. The use of color and textures can
easily separate, highlight or combine important information.
Further expansion of the still board is adding magnetic
capabilities. On the magnetic board, information can
be moved, added or removed to emphasize specific points.
Magnetic boards are also used in demonstrating
auto accidents where vehicles can be moved and placed
accordingly.
Animated charts and graphs are extremely flexible in
terms of showing large amounts of information without
creating multiple stationary charts. Information in
an animated chart can fade in and out to illustrate
specific groups of data and colors can change based
on time progression.
There are limitless ideas that can be applied to animated
charts and graphs. Animated graphics can be presented
using VHS videotape, CD-ROM or DVD
disc. Click on Media Formats
for an in-depth explanation of each format and the equipment
that is required.
